4.Need: Lack of education for grils in countryside mostly is because of the gender bias of their parents. With this app, grils can get educated remotely.

Project n°4:Psychological help for women under COVID-19

4.Need: Help women reduce stress and rebuild confidence. Under COVID-19, many people(especially women)live in a turbulent environment. That's the result from decline of economy, lack of medical care,and even relationships with family members since there's several lockdowns.

Selected project: Empower grils with career education

1. Carriers and actors of the project: Career Guides, Psychologists and Teachers with specific skills
2. Research question:

  • What's the proportion of countryside families owning computers?
  • Among the most needed careers for girls, what are the easiest that can be learned through the Internet?
  • How will they get the materials for practicing? By donation?
  • 3. The reason you selected this project
    I'm a gril, and I can deeply understand how sorrowful it is facing the gender bias from parents. Some of the girls in the countryside even don't get the chance to go to school because everything in the family is used to support the boy. This project is aiming at helping grils who couldn't get education gaining their own power from a young age.

    User scenario

    1. Users: Girls who were born in the countryside and had little chance for education
    2. Persona
    A gril called Namphon, who's 10 years old and lives in a family in the countryside in Thailand. Her family is living on sugarcane growing, and suffers from poverty most of the time. She never had the chance to go to school because all the money was used to support his younger brother. She had to go into the field and work with other family members at a very young age.She dreamed of becoming an hairstyler, but never had the chance to approach it.
